Clam Chowder

Ingredients
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 3 cups finely diced potatoes
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 cube margarine
- 1 quart half & half
- 1/2 cup water, if necessary
- 1.5 tsp salt
- 1.5 tbsp vinegar
- 1 (6½ oz) can clams
Instructions
- Cook onion, celery, and potatoes in enough water to cover.
- Simmer until done.
- In a separate pan, melt butter and add flour.
- Blend with wire whip.
- Slowly add half & half and whip until smooth (it will be thick).
- Add undrained vegetables, vinegar, salt, and clams.
- Add water if necessary to get desired thickness.
