Overnight Oats with many variations

Ingredients

  • ## Base
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 0.5-1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1-2 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Mix milk, yogurt, maple syrup.
  2. Stir in oats and chia.
  3. Refrigerate 4+ hours.
  4. ## Variations
  5. Blueberry muffin: dash vanilla, pinch salt, add fresh blueberries in the a.m. (also delish with true lemon or lemon zest added in)
  6. Apple Cinnamon: Stir in 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 cup diced apples, 2 tbsp chopped nuts (in morning)
  7. Chocolate Banana: 1 tbsp nutella stirred in, add sliced banana and a sprinkle of chocolate chips in the morning
  8. Chunky Monkey: 1-2 tbsp peanut butter stirred in, add sliced banana and chocolate chips in the morning
  9. Pear-adise: 1/4-1/2 tsp cinnamon, generous pinch of cardamom, diced pears
  10. Pumpkin Pie: Decrease greek yogurt by 1/4 cup, add 1/2 cup pumpkin puree, dash vanilla and 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice or 3/4 tsp cinnamon
  11. Other delicious toppings: any fresh fruit, toasted coconut, chopped nuts, drizzled almond butter
  12. Increase greek yogurt or use Fairlife milk for more protein
